Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Optional: ½ oz egg white
  • Lemon wheel and cherry for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker
  2. If using egg white, dry shake first (without ice)
  3. Add ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds
  4. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
  5. Garnish with lemon wheel and cherry
