Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Optional: ½ oz egg white
- Lemon wheel and cherry for garnish
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a shaker
- If using egg white, dry shake first (without ice)
- Add ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds
- Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
- Garnish with lemon wheel and cherry
