Creating an aromatic bouquet that engages the sense of smell with each sip.
Tutorial
- Select a fresh, vibrant mint sprig with 5-8 leaves
- Gently slap the mint between your palms once to release the aromatic oils
- Trim the stem to an appropriate length (about 2-3 inches above the glass)
- Insert the sprig so it's partially submerged in the cocktail
- Position it near the straw, ensuring the drinker's nose will be close to the mint
- The sprig should stand tall and create a visual and aromatic focal point
- For extra presentation, lightly dust the mint with powdered sugar
- Ensure the mint is secure and won't fall into the drink
